HARRISON SCOTT LEADS THE WAY IN THRUXTON TEST

Falcon’s young charger tops the timesheets

SCOTT-2

Thruxton 9 April, 2013 – Seventeen-year-old Harrison Scott showed his more experienced rivals the way around Thruxton, the fastest track on the Dunlop MSA Formula Ford GB calendar, in official testing today. The Essex racer and his Falcon Motorsport Mygale were a quarter of a second clear of their closest rival around the Hampshire track, which will play host to rounds of the championship early next month.

Scott lapped the 2.4-mile track in a time of 1m 12.173 in the drier afternoon session; he was quick in the damp morning conditions also, third behind Scott Malvern (Jamun) and Neil Winn (Falcon).

Malvern ended the day second overall to Scott with a time of 1m 12.429s, with JTR man Camren Kaminsky third overall with a lap of 1m 12.978s. Kaminsky’s championship-leading team-mate Dan Cammish was absent from Thruxton; his place on the squad was taken by 18-year-old Sam Brabham, who concentrated on familiarising himself with his new Mygale rather than recording any lap times.
